Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Status quo
We provide notification settings for various cases on a user's shared data.
However, there is no option to be informed that a new dataset has been added for registration office X or conservation office Y.
In the past, users had automatically access to datasets, which have been associated with their organization. Due to many problems in this workflow, the new user-based sharing does not provide anything similar.
Idea
There could be a notification setting on
New data created for ...
where users can add different organizations for registration office and conservation office. If a new dataset for e.g. registration office X is created on Konova, all users would then receive a mail, informing them about the newly created dataset for registration office X.This would not give them any access automatically, but they would be informed on the same second, the data is created. This way, they know that they can expect a share of the data in the next hours/days. If they have to wait for too long and/or see that the data is already fully entered, they can try to contact the user who created the dataset and ask why they didn't got any shared access, yet.
